The Great Barrier Reef is one of the natural wonders of the world. It runs along the north eastern edge of Australia, off the coast of Queensland, and is listed as a World Heritage area for good reason: the reef hosts the most amazing collection of coral and marine life you've ever seen.
Snorkelling or scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef is one of life's great pleasures. As soon as you put your head underwater, a whole new world opens up; it's like a Salvador Dali painting coming to life before your eyes.
Thanks to places such as the gay resort of Turtle Cove, along with the many accommodation options in and around Cairns and Port Douglas, enjoying the Great Barrier Reef and the magnificent Daintree Rainforest can be a very queer experience.
